How to get GENE/ETH and GNOME/ETH LP tokens

In order to stake you need some Liquidity pool tokens. By providing these, you are stabilising the volatility of web3 tokens.

First you need some ETH and either GENE or GNOME. You can read all of the steps on how to trade $GENE and $GNOME tokens on Sushi here.

Once you have some GENE, or GNOME — head to the links above to add liquidity. This will most likely be a 2 transaction workflow, unless you have already approved your wallet to spend your GENE or GNOME.

The liquidity adds equal parts ETH and GENE. It automatically balances this if you fill in one number.

The first transaction above is to approve GENE. Once this has completed, you will need to ‘Confirm Supply’-ing the pool with your liquidity.

Upon completion of this transaction — you have done it. You will now have GENE/ETH LP tokens in your wallet. It is this you can stake to earn more GENE and GNOME and earn passive income on your stack!
